Taking blame

I would like to point out one fact, and that is how media always takes the blame of retarded people. For example, an irresponsible parent is too busy to pay attention to his/her kid and the kid turns out rotten to the core, takes a gun and kill someone. First thing that is in speculation for the act is, was he watching a lot of violent tv? Was he talking to un-rudely people on Facebook or Myspace? I mean how many time have they say, hmmm that serial killer, his/her parent didn't teach him right and wrong. Why didn't their parent step in when this behavior just starting and said, that is wrong and you shouldn't do that. I know some of these disturbing behavior can be developed in a later life development time frame, but come on, my parent taught me right and wrong when I was a kid and when I became a teen, I was able to say. Drug isn't cool, violent doesn't solve my problem, and driving fast doesn't get me to places quicker (my parents was wrong on the last one, but 2 out of 3 isn't bad).

I just want to point out that parent's need to wake up and start paying attention to their offspring a little more. Finding out problem when their are in child development cycle, and correcting the problem in a non-re-enforced manner is much easier to correct than allowing that behavior and wait until he/she screw up in life, and try to correct that problem in jail.
